Brittney Gathen

Brittany Gathen is a sophomore journalism student at the University of Memphis and intern at The New Tri-State Defender in Memphis, Tennessee. Her career goal is to work full-time for a newspaper or magazine one day. On campus, she has a minor in marketing and is involved in the University of Memphis chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ), Professional Assertive United Sisters of Excellence (P.A.U.S.E.), Tigers 4 Le Bonheur and Black Scholars Unlimited.
