Youth Football Camp
JUNE 1—Brandon Marshall and the Pittsburgh Public Schools will host a Youth Football Camp from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Pittsburgh Obama Academy, 129 Denniston St., East Liberty. JUNE 7—Northside Leadership Conference will host its 29th Annual Scholarship & Awards Dinner at 7 p.m. at Northside Institutional COGIC, 302 W. North Ave., North Side. JUNE 10—Pittsburgh Mercy Health Systems will host Mad Hot Ballroom Pittsburgh from 5-9 p.m. at the Westin Convention Center, 1000 Penn Ave., Downtown. Teams from local companies and organizations will compete before judges in a friendly ballroom dance competition. Men of Impact
JUNE 15—BCC Ministries will host a Men of Impact Symposium at 7 p.m. at 1400 Boyle St., North Side. This three-day symposium will tackle issues faced by African-American makes and to encourage, empower and educate young males. There will be a concert; workshops covering topics such as finances, family relationships, youth violence prevention and more; and a special father/Men’s Day banquet at Allen Place Community Services.
