We rolled out the red carpet for them so that they would know they are truly stars in our eyes," White said.

The Back to School Spectacular was free and open to all students, parents and school communities within the ASD. At the event, ASD Superintendent Malika Anderson presented a "State of the Schools" report and information booklet, along with an overview of the district's strategic initiatives for the 2016-17 school year.
