Ask Myron: Iron Mike is for the birds

Anyway, Mike Tyson is the latest entertainer to get his own show. You might say that Tyson is not an entertainer; that he is boxer. Well, I suggest you Google Mike Tyson. Then you might agree that this guy has been entertaining for a long time. Or at least, he has been quite entertaining to me.

Anyway, back to “reality.” Mike Tyson is getting his own show on Animal Planet. From what I have been reading, Tyson has been raising pigeons all of his life and his new show will center around him and his love for the birds.

“I feel a great pride acting as an official representative for all the pigeon fanciers out there. I want people to see why we love these birds,” says Tyson.

You will also learn about his involvement in competitive pigeon racing as well. No, this is not a joke. The guy really loves pigeons.

“Tyson’s passion for his pigeons takes my breath away,” says an Animal Planet executive. “For years, he has been inspired by these birds that he feels have the ‘biggest heart’ in the animal kingdom.”

If I have caused a mountain of excitement within you, I must inform you that you will have to wait until early 2011 to see Tyson and his bird friends. Yeah, I know, how dare they make us wait so long? (lol)

Ask Myron:

Q: “Is James Brown’s body still missing? And why hasn’t he been buried yet? That’s kind of morbid.”

R. Brown, Memphis

A: Apparently, one of his daughters, LaRhonda Pettit, went to the UK’s Daily Mirror with claims that her father’s body has disappeared from the home of Deanna Brown Thomas, another one of Brown’s children. Brown’s body has been placed at her home until a mausoleum is completed. Brown’s body will then be placed there permanently.

However, the funeral director who handled the burial has stated that the body is in the same place it has been since Brown’s death. Pettit has also claimed that her father did not die of heart failure and said that it was a cover up for a drug involved death. So far, her claims are unsupported.
