Motorists can renew licenses at Taste of Chicago

CHICAGO (AP) — Got some business with the secretary of state? Want fries with that?

Illinois residents who attend Taste of Chicago can renew their driver's licenses or purchase their annual vehicle license plate stickers.

Secretary of State Jesse White's office will provide these and other services from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at a booth at the food festival in Chicago's Grant Park.

The Taste of Chicago runs July 11 to 15.

The secretary of state's mobile unit will be located at the southwest corner of Grant Park, near Jackson and Columbus drives.

Proper documentation is required. Acceptable forms of payment include personal checks, cash, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit and debit cards.
